Oktoberfest

The longest-running festival in Leake County. The Oktoberfest originally started as a two-day arts and crafts fair hosted in the Carthage Coliseum. Locals could purchase homemade jams and jellies, wooden signs, and other unique items handcrafted by artisans at this beloved event. As time has passed the Oktoberfest has evolved into a family event that boasts more than just arts and crafts, Oktoberfest has become home to live music and entertainment, vendors of all backgrounds and specialties, fun and interactive activities for kids, the infamous pet parade, and so much more!

Stop by to see what Leake County has to offer at Oktoberfest! This event is free to the community and held annually in Carthage, Mississippi during the month of October.
