MSCLC is hosting its inaugural pet mayor election. The pet mayor, if elected, will serve a one-year term from the time of election. They will be invited to participate in public events and ribbon cuttings hosted by the Main Street Chamber during their term.
This is a fundraiser for our organization’s public improvement plans in the historic downtown districts of Leake County.
Online Voting for the Primary Election will be held Sept. 4- Oct. 2
The Top 5 Candidates at the end of the Primary will move onto the General Election from Oct. 5-Oct. 17 with the Pet Mayor to be officially announced at the Oktoberfest.
